Free Tools for Everyone

UtilByte was created with a simple mission: to provide high-quality, free online tools that respect your privacy. We believe that essential utilities should be accessible to everyone, without the need for expensive software subscriptions or concerns about data security.

Every file tool on UtilByte processes your data directly in your browser. Images, PDFs, video, text and code are handled locally using canvas, pdf-lib, ffmpeg.wasm and tesseract.js, which means your files never leave your device. You do not have to take that on trust: open any of them, disconnect from the network, and they still work.

Three tools are different, and it is worth saying so plainly. The API Client, the Request Catcher and the Local Proxy all need a server, because a browser cannot call an arbitrary API across origins and a public webhook URL has to exist somewhere. Requests you make with those tools — including any credentials in them — pass through our infrastructure. Each of their pages says so, and the advice there is the same as it is here: use test credentials, not production ones.
